How’s everyone doing? I wanted to let you guys know that although I’ll try to find time to set up a good queue, the blog might be quite inactive in the next few days due to my moving to the US for college! Exciting and stressful times. I hope you guys understand!
I know it's weird, maybe it's because of his kind personality... But I'm not sure andy is 100% heterosexual? Views?
Not necessarily. Like Phil, Andy is “in touch with his feminine side” sort of, he’s got a more gentle character and, like you said, a kind personality, but so far the only thing we know about his sexual orientation is that he had a girlfriend of many years and he likes Haley. If you ask me, we can’t really speculate. :]
I would love to see a relationship between Haley and Andy in the next season. About how Haley starts to act on her feelings towards him. I would like to see either Haley go after Andy to tell him how she feels, or Andy come back for her and say how he feels. I think they'd be a cute couple ^_^ What are your thoughts on it?
I love Andy! And I love the dynamics between him and Haley, I certinly hope we see it explored more next season. I think that they both have something for each other, but it might not work out at first at all for many reasons. I’d just love to see it unfold though. Haley’s had some big character growth, so this will be important for her.
I agree with both of you about Alex, that’s why I said in my response that it would be cool if one of the kids got to explore their sexuality, anyone, if you ask me - even Lily, at some point (though she already made her point about being gay…). It would definitely make sense for her to be bi. On the other hand, I feel like she is definitely more interested in focusing on her studies and self-development, so that might be a bigger reason as to why we haven’t seen her date all that much or show a lot of interest romantically in boys/anyone. On the other hand, it would be much more unexpected for Luke to be the one exploring his sexuality because he’s been shown to definitely like girls a lot, but he’s also in touch with his feminine side like Phil, so he seems open to stuff like this. Personally, I’d find it more interesting to see Luke explore his sexuality, but I think it would be great to see that addressed with Alex too.

Hey, guys, remember how a while ago I posted about an EXO fanfic I’ve been writing? Well, I just started a new series! Feedback would be greatly appreciated from those who decide to read it, thanks! :]
DeVine played Andy the manny for six episodes last season, a hyper-aware caretaker for Jay and Gloria Pritchett’s infant son Joe.
“We have big plans,” co-creator Christopher Lloyd told Speakeasy. “We’ve actually written him into several episodes. He will be a very prominent part of our group.” DeVine last appeared in the season 5 finale, “The Wedding,” where he was faced with a decision to return home to Utah to try and reconcile with his long-term girlfriend or give the eldest Dunphy daughter Haley a chance.
Did you read the article where Christopher Lloyd said they have "big plans" for Andy for season six, and that he's going to be in more episodes and be a prominent character? Yaayyy! As a huge Andy/Haley shipper, I'm so hopeful! :D
Heyy, I hadn’t seen it before, but I found it now and will make a post about it! This is great! I’m so glad to hear he’ll be a bigger part of the show, not just because of what there is between him and Haley but also because he’s a great character, a truly refreshing one! Thanks for bringing this to my attention!
Hmm, well, I think part of how you perceive her might depend on how you’ve been raised. I think that she’s definitely rude and bad behaved, but I feel like we don’t see much of her anyway, so for now, while she’s still young, they only show us this side of her sort of? What Imean is, she can’t have much serious character development, so… But I wouldn’t go as far as to say that she’s cruel and selfish. I think her rudeness is exaggerated for the purpose of it beinng funny and also because Cam and Mitch are the kind of parents to raise her that way.
I think the second anon gets it - Alex being sort of rude and condescending is her way of coping with the way people treat her for being kind of nerdy and smarter than them. Again, personally, I don’t think she’s a bitch and I don’t think she’s that rude at all, but different people perceive things differently. I agree that she’s grown more likeable. She is, after all, maturing and yeah.
Eyy, look at you guys spreading positivity! We all have our favorites and those who we don’t like as much and we just enjoy the show!
Well, it’s not a text with limited letter space, but it also isn’t a school paper - it’s a message on a social network and, as far as I’m concerned, they can write however they want to, as long as I can understand what they’re saying (which was the case in that message).
Well, this isn’t a fanservice page or something of the kind? As the admin, I have the right to like and dislike characters and post whatever things I want to. That being said, I don’t really dislike any of the characters strongly and I post stuff about all of them. The last part of your message was a rollercoaster, but what I’m gonna say is, I think most people follow this blog for the things I post, not my opinions.
End of discussion about how I “dislike” Phil, which I don’t.
Do you agree that it would be a great writing decision (as well as a reflection on todays modern world) if Luke was curious about his sexuality and turned out to be gay or bi? I already love the show but it would be so awesome if they used their huge platform and audience base to spread the word about how important family acceptance is for LGBTQ teens and youth.
I do! I definitely do. I agree with everything you said. I think so far Luke is quite a “ladies’ man”, but I could definitely see him being curious about his sexuality. Especially because of Phil, he seems open to a lot of things and doesn’t fit, you know, gender norms. If they were to write him that way though, there would be a lot of people saying that this is the result of Cam and Mitch’s influence or that it’s unrealistic to have so many gay people in the same family - which are both bullshit claims and shouldn’t matter, of course, but it may come up. Anyway, it would be cool to have one of the kids explore their sexual orientation, especially if it was Luke. Thanks for the great question!
